DMCA Copyright Infringement Policy

The Cross App respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), we have adopted the following policy concerning copyright infringement.


How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that material available on The Cross App infringes your copyright, you may send us a written notice including the following information:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including information sufficient to locate it (e.g., a direct link or description of the content and user).
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright.

Failure to provide all of the above information may result in a delay in processing your complaint.


Counter Notification

If you believe your content was wrongly removed or disabled due to a DMCA takedown request, you may send us a counter-notification. This must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the content that was removed and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in your judicial district and will accept service of process from the original complaining party.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the content unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order.


Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, The Cross App has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
